lightning talk

What the heck is a “Lightning Talk”?

A lightning talk is an informal, quick, fun presentation. You don’t need slides, and prep time is short to none. Ideally a lightning talk is under 15 minutes, and helps inspire discussion, coding, and action.

This does not have to be Ruby related – anything that might be of interest to other developers would be cool.

Some example topics: tools you use, tips and tricks you’ve picked up, favorite rails plugins, books of interest, ruby vs python/perl/erlang, regexes, why my cat can beat up your cat, explaining ActiveRecord#find, web 2.0 business models, etc.
